CHEVIN ORCHARDS

Mary and Bruce Rowsell bring a touch of England to the
Metcalfe Farmers' Market with their mouth-watering apples
and apple cider. One of the favourite apples they sell from
their market stall is the very English "Coxes Orange Pippin."

But Chevin's Royal Gala, Wolf River, and other varieties,
have kept customers coming back to the
Metcalfe Market since it began.

The Rowsells do all their own pruning and picking and
use only their own apples to make Chevin's popular apple cider.
Along with that taste of England you'll find in every one of their
orange pippins, the couple's orchard also boasts beautiful
perennial gardens - English-style, of course.

Mindful of the environment, Chevin's uses an integrated
pest management system in the orchard.
