One of the popular features of the Metcalfe Farmers' Market
has always been its baked goods. And one of the friendly
regulars at the market for the past 11 years has been
Phyllis Desnoyers.

From her baking stall at the market each Saturday morning,
Phyllis dispenses a delectable selection of home-baked
products
from pies to tarts, breads, cookies, muffins and squares.

Along with a pleasant smile, it's the home baking,
she says, that brings her customers back, week after week.

Everything she makes - including her pie fillings
- is home-made. "I even pick my own berries
for the filling," she says.

Phyllis, who is justifiably proud of her baking,
also provides orders for her customers
